Harvested in the middle of September, this wine macerates on its skins for 15 days before settling in French barrique for 6-8 months. After 8 more months in bottle, this Nero is ready to drink. The tannins are firm yet smooth while plum flavors come out at the finish. Great structure with just a scent of vanilla and cinnamon.
It comes from a blend of grapes native Sicilian formed by 50 % Grillo , 30 %Grecanico and 20% Inzolia.
