Antonio Nonino, third generation of the family of distillers, began in 1933 the liqueur art of Nonino. By combining his liqueur experience with the creation ÙE®, the Grape Distillate, aged for a minimum of 12 months in Limousin and Nevers barriques and small Ex-Sherry casks, Amaro Nonino Quintessentia is born, an extraordinary digestive after lunch.

Raw material: Quintessential herbs, spices, fruit, berries and roots enriched with ÙE®, Nonino Grape Distillate, aged in barriques.

Distillation: artisanal discontinuous with the cutting of the heads and tails, in particular exclusive copper steam stills. The distillation takes place very slowly to allow the volatile components, responsible for the perfumes, a correct evaporation and consequent condensation while keeping the precious organoleptic characteristics intact.

Format: 70cl.

Bottle: transparent in blown glass with color and glitter screen printing; the stopper is made of glass, passed to the diamond wheel.

Alcohol content: 35% vol.

Color: amber and not dark.

Nose: the nose offers aromas of aromatic herbs (thyme and menthol), exotic notes (mango), and citrus hints of orange peel and bitter orange marmalade.

Palate: soft and well balanced between sweet and bitter. There are notes of pepper and licorice, with a final aftertaste of cocoa.

How to serve: Serve at room temperature, on the rocks with an orange slice or in incredible cocktails.

Pairings: it goes well with cream-based desserts, ice cream and crepes. Try it served hot like NoninoPunch or fresh, pure, with dark chocolate. Excellent as an aperitif or in fantastic cocktails such as the "Modern-Classic" Paper Plane by Sam Ross.
