Buy on TerraMadre.it the Capers and the Cucunci (fruit of the caper) with salt from the Island of Salina produced by the Mirabito Agricultural Company. The salting of these fragrant buds takes place according to traditional methods, in layers with coarse sea salt in seasoned wooden barrels called "Tinedda". The Mirabito company is the only one on the island of Salina registered with the D.O.P.. For over 50 years it has been cultivating and producing in its land a native caper cultivar that has obtained the DOP for its characteristics of compactness, perfume and uniformity. We offer you Small Capers, Medium Capers, Large Capers and Cucunci with salt, produced respecting the traditions and principles of organic farming, without the use of chemical fertilizers but only with the use of natural fertilizers.
