Merlot grapes from distinguished dry land sites have made a wine with a strong deep purple colour and lifted plum and spice aromas. The palate starts deep, with dark elegant and spicy flavours. Barrel fermentation has given dimension and texture to the dark cherry fruit and leads to a concentrated and persistent finish.

This wine has full green gold in colour; the nose has some lifted citrus and apricot. The palate leads with some complex toasty oak, then full and rich nutty chardonnay. The acidity is sufficient to carry the wine with a long persistent finish.
This wine shows an intense ruby red color and nuances of ruby red, little transparency. The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant aromas which start with hints of black currant, plum and black cherry followed by aromas of blackberry, violet, vanilla, carob, licorice, tobacco, mace, black pepper and menthol.
The wine D'Istinto Syrah Caltrasi shows a brilliant ruby red color and nuances of ruby red, moderate transparency.
