Tenute Orestiadi is a Sicilian wine company founded in 2008 in Gibellina, in the Belìce Valley, which is characterized by a close relationship between viticulture and art. In addition to the collaboration with the Orestiadi Foundation and the Brera Academy of Arts, in fact, in the barrel room a museum of contemporary art, the Barriques Museum, came to life.

To make Tenute Orestiadi wines unique is the variety of terroirs, characterized by different soils and microclimates, ideal habitats for the various cultivars. There are three types of soil and we can identify them as red earth, white earth and black earth.

- Terra Rossa is a soil characterized by the red color, in fact, rich in sand and stones. The composition is very loose and full of ferrous microelements. The microclimate is dry in the Belìce Valley. Typical of south-western Sicily, it is the land suitable for the cultivation of Perricone, also called Pignatello da "pignate", a term that identifies pots made with the same red earth. The Perricone DOC Tenute Orestiadi is ample and elegant with mineral and wild fruit notes and with hints of marasca cherry.

- Terra Bianca is a medium rich in limestone and gypsum, of medium compactness. The microclimate is dry with good water retention. Typical of the hills of the Belìce Valley, this mining land is ideal for the cultivation of Grillo, Catarratto, Grecanico, Inzolia and Zibibbo. The Zibibbo DOC Tenute Orestiadi is a fresh elegant wine, savory and harmonious, characterized by fruity and floral aromas that recall citrus fruits, peach and melon.

- Terra Nera is a soil rich in silt-clayey substances, compact and resistant to drought. It is located on the hills of the Trapani hinterland and is ideal for breeding both red and white berry varieties. It is perfect for the production of Nero d’Avola, not only in purity but also in blend for the Orestiadi Ludovico, the cru of the winery dedicated to Ludovico Corrao. On the palate The Orestiadi Ludovico has a full-bodied structure and a bouquet of red fruits that alternate with spicy nuances of licorice, tobacco and cocoa. A specialty produced in this terroir is Paxmentis Syrah, characterized by a mix of notes of red fruits, plums, cherries in alcohol and vanilla. In the mouth it is austere but gives a sumptuous and intriguing fragrance finish.

In 2018 a collaboration began between Tenute Orestiadi and La Gelsomina, a reality on Etna. Here the soil is both lava and clay and is composed of the "gghiara" and the stratifications of Mount Etna. Varietals such as Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, Carricante and Moscato dell'Etna are cultivated. Etna Bianco DOC is also produced from carricante and catarratto and is a fresh and harmonious wine with a hint of white fruit and jasmine flowers with light citrus notes.
