The Pistachio and White Chocolate Colomba is an artisan dessert produced by the renowned Forno Monastra, a reality present in Castell'Umberto, on the Nebrodi Mountains, since 1958. The careful selection of high quality raw materials, the craftsmanship, the slow leavening and the use of sourdough are the characteristics of this extraordinary Easter dove. The softness and fragrance of the dough, the delicious pistachio chocolate filling and the irresistible white chocolate glaze with coarsely chopped pistachios make this Colomba the perfect dessert for exchanging Easter greetings. Not the classic dove but an excellent artisanal and organic product, made in Sicily.
Ingredients: Type 0 soft wheat flour, butter, cane sugar, egg yolk, pistachio chocolate (cane sugar, pistachio paste 30%, cocoa butter, whole milk powder), cane sugar, natural yeast ( type "0" soft wheat flour, water), pistachio paste 5%, rice malt (barley malt, rice), vanilla, salt.
Glaze ingredients: White chocolate 10% (cane sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder), pistachio.
