Brought to Sicily by the Arabs, the pistachio found in the Bronte area the ideal environment for its production. The excellent quality meant that it obtained the D.O.P.

It is on the slopes of Etna, at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level, that the "queen" of Bronte cultivar is grown. It is the "white" or so-called "Neapolitan" variety.
The soil of a lava nature, the torrid climate in summer and rigid in winter, the attention from production to harvest give the pistachio the taste and quality that have allowed it to obtain the certification "Pistachio Verde di Bronte D.O.P."
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
