Organic Black Chickpea - La Riserva del Re
Our black chickpeas La Riserva del Re are Sicilian legumes produced from organic farming, without the use of chemical treatments. They have a characteristic black color, due to the richness of anthocyanins, and a particularly intense flavor characterized by sweet aromatic notes that go well with the acidic notes of tomato or with bitter vegetables such as radicchio.
In addition to being the most digestible legume, compared to traditional chickpeas, black chickpea is much richer in iron, fiber and protein. It is in fact a recommended food for pregnant women.

Storage: in a cool and dry place, away from sunlight.
Tip: soak them for about 12 hours. Put them in a pot with clean water and cook for about 2 hours.
