Organic Cicerchia - La Riserva del Re
La Cicerchia La Riserva del Re is one of our Sicilian legumes produced from organic farming, without the use of chemical treatments. Its diffusion area is mainly represented by the hills of Corleone, Piana degli Albanesi and San Giuseppe Jato. The seed is small and angular. The delicate and unique flavor, a cross between that of dried peas and broad beans, is characterized by sweet notes and hints of earth and herbs.

Excellent with soups and broths, paired with lupins, lentils or barley, or with traditional dishes and pork ribs. Try it with fish dishes such as shellfish and molluscs. Moderate consumption is recommended.
Storage: in a cool and dry place, away from sunlight.
Tip: soak in warm, salted water for 24 hours. Place in a saucepan with clean, unsalted, boiling water and cook for about 2 hours.
