Elephant Gin - London Dry Gin

German gin inspired by Africa, Elephant London Dry gin was born thinking of the "sundowner", an aperitif that is sipped at sunset, after spending a day in the African savannahs. Gin Elephant is obtained from the distillation of natural botanicals, selected by hand, in copper stills for one day, using the “one shot” method.

The main botanicals used are pine needles, South African Artemisia with a floral aroma, Malawi Baobab with citrus scents, orange peel, South African Bucco (Buchu) reminiscent of black currant, the Lion's Tail plant , as well as apples grown in Germany.

The artisanal production, the manual selection of botanicals, local spring water and no addition of artificial flavors after distillation make it a gin with a unique taste and of superior quality.

Another aspect that deserves attention is the spirit of Elephant Gin, linked to environmental sustainability and social responsibility. In fact, Elephant Gin donates 15% of its earnings to three foundations (Big Life Foundation, Space For Elephants and Sheldrick Wildlife Trust) that are involved in safeguarding the African elephant to protect it from extinction.

Nose: light juniper aroma, with balsamic notes of mountain pine and other herbaceous notes

Taste: complex but extraordinarily soft. Excellent balance of floral, fruity and spicy aromas

Tip: prepare excellent gin and tonics and garnish them with citrus and apple to enhance their qualities

Curiosity: Each label is handwritten by a calligrapher and, in addition to being numbered, bears the name of the elephant to which it is dedicated.
