Located in Passopisciaro, on the north side of Etna, Cantina Graci produces Etna wines from indigenous vines grown at an altitude between 600 and 1,000 meters above sea level. in the heart of the Alcantara Valley.
Passopisciaro boasts a millenary winemaking tradition. It is here, in various districts (including Arcurìa, Feudo Di Mezzo, Muganazzi, Santo Spirito and Barbabecchi), in the heart of the Alcantara Valley, that the Graci winery cultivates Nerello Mascalese, Carricante and Catarratto, native vines of Etna, in a certified organic regime.
Among the key features of this winery we find:
- great attention to sustainability;
- very careful selection and search for full maturity to minimize yields in the vineyard;
- respect for the territory, tradition and personality of the vineyards to keep intact the differences between one vintage and another and between one vineyard and another. An excellent interpreter of this variability is Nerello Mascalese, which amazes and excites year after year.
