Carob Grappa - Grappa from Nerello Mascalese!
With a natural amber color, Grappa of Carob is a brandy obtained from the marc of Nerello Mascalese from Etna that meets the best Sicilian carobs, pulpy and rich in flavor, carefully selected.
The carob contains its precious seeds of a flattened, rounded shape, very hard and precious, defined as "carats" and used as a unit of measurement for gold. Sectioned and placed inside the bottle, in addition to showing its exceptional beauty, the carob slowly releases completely natural color and sweetness into the grappa.
Grappa alla Carruba is an explosion of typical Sicilian scents: mineral ones, full of red berry fruit with floral, spicy, vanilla, tobacco and licorice nuances from Nerello Mascalese which dominates Mount Etna with its vineyards; those of overwhelming ripe fruit and sweets typical of the carob fruit that dominates in the Sicilian countryside together with notes of caramel, molasses, figs and dates.
The result is an elegant and refined grappa with an unmistakable taste.
