Mondeuse Savoie Rouge Jean Vullien
The Mondeuse wine from the Jean Vullien winery is a Savoia Rosso, unique in character and terroir of origin, with a spicy and peppery flavor.

Grape variety: 100% Mondeuse
Terroir: Sheltered from the North winds on the slopes of Fréterive, St Jean de la Porte and Montmélian, in the heart of the Combe de Savoie where our vineyards extend. The vineyard is made up of young and old vines. Clayey-limestone soil of stony gravel, sloping slopes, south facing to the sun between Chambéry and Albertville.
Production: 25,000 bottles
Vinification: Manual selection of the harvest in the cellar. 100% destemming. Vattatura in the carpet to avoid any crushing of the crop. Cold pre-fermentation for 72 hours at a temperature below 12 °C. Maceration and alcoholic fermentation at 28 °C between 15 and 20 days.
Appearance: fairly sustained grain with violet reflections.
Bouquet: spicy and greedy, violet, pepper, cocoa, licorice, cherry and blackberry.
Taste: spicy and peppery with powerful tannins. Balanced, it enchants the palate with its attack and length on the palate, a note of violet and kirsch.
Tasting advice: it goes perfectly with red meats, game and cheeses. To drink between 14 °C and 16 °C.
Storage: This wine is ready to drink within the year, but it can also be stored for 5 years in the cellar.
