Produced with Sangiovese and a small amount of Malvasia Nera, Colorino and Merlot, it is characterized by a balance of elegance and complexity, which make this wine a magnificent example of the “terroir”. 

Produced with Sangiovese grapes from the estate’s most suitable vineyard, is a Morellino di Scansano “Cru”. Powerful and also warm and enveloping, it gives new astonishing territorial sensations to this noble variety. 

Aged in French barriques for six months, this is a young wine with a versatility that makes it perfect for everyday use.

Wine produced with Primitivo grapes grown in the province of Taranto. Manual harvest at right ripeness with careful selection of the grapes. Manual selection of the bunch with a selector belt, fermentation of the must at a controlled temperature, traditional maceration for 20-25 days, good use of delestage and pumping over.

Muro Sant'Angelo by Tenute Chiaromonte is a 100% Primitivo which has obtained the Gioia del Colle DOC recognition for its unique characteristics. Intense red wine, with spicy and fruity aromas of plum and small black fruits. Impact on the palate, volume without sagging, excellent acidity that well balances the typical sweetness of the vine. Pleasant finish, poured by notes of chocolate and licorice.

Primitivo Muro Sant'Angelo Contrada Barbatto - Tenute Chiaromonte
Contrada Barbatto Muro Sant'Angelo is a niche edition of the Primitivo DOC Gioia del Colle by Tenute Chiaromonte. It comes from grapes grown in a small vineyard of ancient trees. The color is deep red. The aromas are those of plum jam and bitter chocolate that barely covers the smoky notes. Do not miss the typical scents of the Mediterranean maquis. On the palate it is cherry-like, deep and intense, with very soft tannins.
