A typical Sicilian product, this raisin is of the Zibibbo variety, or Moscato d'Alessandria, grown as a sapling on the island of Pantelleria and harvested by hand. Only the best carefully selected Zibibbo bunches, whose berries are deseeded and left to dry in the Sicilian sun on special drying racks for about 15-20 days. Traditional cultivation and processing methods that Kazzen, a Pantelleria artisan producer, carries on with passion to offer the authentic flavors and aromas of the island.
