Marsala Superiore Oro Riserva is a semi-dry Marsala wine obtained from 100% Grillo grapes grown in the Samperi district. Produced by Marco de Bartoli in the traditional way, Marsala Superiore Oro is a fortified Marsala with the addition of a mistella made with fresh must and brandy obtained from the same grape from which the base wine is obtained. Aged for over 10 years in oak, this Marsala Superiore Riserva is fine and structured, surprisingly pleasant, of great elegance, unexpected freshness and extraordinary softness.

Fermentation: traditional fermentation with indigenous yeasts in oak and chestnut barrels at room temperature. A part of the fresh must is enriched with brandy to prepare the mistella which will then be added to the wine
Aging: over 10 years in oak barrels of different sizes
Analytical data of the wine: total acidity 7.92 g/l; reducing sugars 52g/l; Total SO2 21 mg/l
Alcohol content: 18% vol
Color: intense amber, with coppery reflections
Nose: bouquet with complex aromas. It offers aromas of dried figs, jam, candied citrus fruits and nutmeg
Palate: soft and elegant characterized by a marked freshness. The finish is very long and velvety
Pairings: Marsala to drink at the end of a meal with desserts. Excellent with blue cheeses, mustard or jam
