Obtained from the timeless international white grape variety appreciated all over the world, the Chardonnay grapes grown in the territory of Menfi give a powerful and enveloping white wine.

Grapes: 100% Chardonnay
Production zone: Menfi, south-western Sicily
Vineyard exposure: south, south-east
Altitude: 150 - 350 mt above sea level
Soils: medium-textured limeston soils
Planting density: 4,000 - 5,000 plants/ha
Vineyards: espalier-grown and guyot-pruned
Harvesting: 2nd week of August
Alcoholic content: 13% vol
Vinification: cryomaceration of the grapes at 5-8°C for 4/6 hours. The must is then fermented for 15/20 days at 16-18°C
Aging: in steel vats for 4 months
Color: straw-yellow with gold-green reflections
Nose: it has notes of orange peel, oleander and ripe prickly pears
Palate: it is strong and embracing, with a marked minerality and persistence
Serving temperature: 10-12°C
Food pairings: Pasta with clams, roasted king prawns, grated mussels
