Larcéra Mandrarossa - Organic Vermentino from Sicily
Sicilian wine from organic grapes, Larcera is the Vermentino by Mandrarossa, a fresh, mineral, savory and versatile white wine. The quality and excellent yield of the vine are due to the exposure of the vineyards to the south, the climate of the area and the proximity of the sea.
Larcera is part of the Mandrarossa Innovative Wines Collection, wines that do not always belong to the local wine tradition, but that show a new and original face of Sicily. The label takes its name from a district of the municipality of Santa Margherita del Belice, one of the growing areas of this extraordinary Mediterranean variety.

Vinification: The grapes are pressed after being destemmed and cooled at 8°C; the resulting must is decanted for about 36 hours, and then yeasts are added. Fermentation occurs at a temperature of 10-12°C.
Aging: 6 months in steel containers at a low temperature to preserve the aromas and fragrances
Alcoholic content: 12.5% vol
Color: straw-yellow
Nose: great expressiveness given by notes of wildflowers, straw, tomato leaf, perfectly integrated with the more typical hints of fruit and flowers
Palate: fresh, tight with a great acidity and at the same time captivating thanks to a certain level of softness. A good finish, clean and persistent

Food pairing: Fish and seafood starters; timbales and pasta dishes with vegetables
