Micina Nerello Mascalese 2023 Cellaro Winery - Wines in Sambuca di Sicilia
Micina wine by Cellaro is produced from grapes grown on the fertile hill of Miccina. This hill owes its name to the kitten of a local farmer, well known for his love for the vineyard. He managed to produce excellent grapes despite adverse weather events and his secret was his love for cats and for everything that nature offers. After his death, the farmer's kitten continued to meow every night not only to claim him but also to remember the potential of that extraordinary land. This story inspires the Cellaro winery that produces the Micina Nerello Mascalese wine, a one-of-a-kind red wine.
