The Cellaro winery in Sambuca di Sicilia produces its Nero d'Avola Micina. From the slightly dried grapes of the Sicilian native vine par excellence comes an extraordinary Nero d'Avola wine, soft, juicy and complex, aged in French and American oak barrels.

Vinification: before being harvested, the grapes are left to dry on the plant for about 15 days to obtain a greater concentration of sugars and give softness and complexity to the wine

Fermentation: the grapes, destemmed and crushed, ferment in steel silos at a controlled temperature of 24-26°C for about 8-10 days, performing regular pumping over to fully extract aroma and color

Malolactic Fermentation: yes

Aging: in French and American oak barrels for a few months

Alcohol content: 13% vol

Color: intense ruby ​​red with evident purple reflections

Nose: bouquet with spicy hints of cloves and chocolate combined with aromas of red fruits and herbs aromatic

Palate: enveloping, warm, velvety and juicy, with fine tannins and a fruity persistence
