Orestiadi Ludovico is the cru of Tenute Orestiadi, produced from Nero d'Avola (90%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) grapes. On the palate it is powerful with a complex, broad and enveloping structure.
It belongs to the ''Terra nera'' family, on the hills of the Trapani hinterland. Soil type rich in silt-clayey substances, compact and resistant to drought in the area. Perfect for growing both red and white grapes.

How is this wine made and what are its characteristics?
The grapes are harvested manually on the slopes of the Trapani hinterland. It is first aged in steel for about 4/6 months, then in French oak barriques for 16/18 months, completing the process in the bottle lying down.

Palate: Powerful on the palate with a complex, broad and enveloping structure, with soft and finely balanced tannins
Pairings: Important grilled red meats, aged cheeses, game stew
Vinification: The wine ages for 4/6 months in steel and then for 16-18 months in French oak barriques. Complete the refinement in the bottle lying down for about 12 months.
