Contrada G 2019 Passopisciaro
Among the extraordinary Sicilian wines of Etna produced in Passopisciaro by the winemaker Franchetti, choose Contrada G, a Nerello Mascalese grown at 800 m asl on the north side of Etna. Contrada G, Guardiola, is an ancient district of Passopisciaro on the edge of the 1947 flow that spared the vineyards. Only the grapes from the oldest vineyards are used to produce this cru. The result is a deep and complex red wine with a rich hint of red fruits.
