Syrah by Feudo Arancio is a Sicilian red wine from a variety of Middle Eastern origin, which has spread all over the world. The intense brightness of the Sicilian environment together with the uniqueness of the land raise it to the highest quality levels. Fruity, spicy and balsamic notes come together in a single wine with a well-balanced body.

Denomination: Sicilia DOC

Grapes variety: Syrah 100%

Production area: Sambuca di Sicilia, province of Agrigento, and Acate, province of Ragusa. In Sambuca di Sicilia a more mature and structured wine is obtained, while in Acate a more delicate and fruity wine

Type of training: espalier

Average planting density: 4,500 plants per hectare

Harvest period: first week of September

Vinification: after harvesting at perfect aromatic and polyphenolic ripeness, followed by de-stemming and alcoholic fermentation with the skins for 10 days at 25-26°C. The malolactic fermentation takes place with selected bacteria, then follows the maturation for 10 months in French oak barriques

Color: deep ruby ​​red

Bouquet: rich and persuasive, spicy and balsamic notes of black pepper and thyme blend with those of fruits and woods

Taste: the tannic sensation is velvety and pleasant, a wine with a well balanced body

Alcoholic degree: 13.5%

Pairings: it goes well with savory cold cuts, grilled red meats, game, smoked cheeses and herbs. Try it with swordfish with rosemary

Serving temperature: 16-18°C
