Milazzo's Metodo Classico Riserva V38AG is the special reserve, created to raise awareness of the extraordinary terroir and to celebrate the passion for the work of the winemakers of the Milazzo winery on the 40th anniversary of the first "draught". The name of this extraordinary cuvée of Chardonnay and Inzolia created in 2004 is a symbolic reference to the first bottler code obtained by the Milazzo winery to be able to bottle the wines. The long aging of 8 years on the lees ensures that the result is a silky, soft and particularly elegant sparkling wine.

V38AG Riserva is the extraordinary cuvée from the Milazzo winery in which the refinement of Chardonnay and the strength, Mediterranean character and aging capacity of the Inzolia grapes blend. Packaged in an elegant silk-screened black box with brochure, it is an excellent gift idea for important occasions.

Farming: organic certificate

Grape variety: Chardonnay dominant and Inzolia

Average age of the vines: over 20 years

Soil: plateau of marl origin with high clay component strongly calcareous

Vine's training: tendone (pergola)

Plants per hectar: over 5600

Average yield per hectar: 60 Quintals

Harvest: manual in small crates of 14 kg; beginning of August for the Chardonnay, beginning of September for the Inzolia

Vinification: Maturation of the wines took place partly in stainless steel vats partly in oak barriques

Refining: the cuvée was bottled and the liqueur de tirage was added to start the second fermentation. The bottles age for 48 months on the lees

Alcohol content: 12,5% by Volume

Colour: intense yellow; bright sparkling wine

Pérlage: very fine and persistent

Nose: fragrant with notes of vanilla and pastry, well blended with hints of spice and Mediterranean scrub. It shows hints of exotic fruit that melt in the bread crust

Palate: particularly elegant, full and structured, creamy and savory; the powdery tactile sensation that favors its combination at the table is captivating

Serving temperature: 5-7°C

Pairing: excellent as an aperitif, ideal with appetizers, raw fish, oysters, soups and recipies with fish, enjoyable also with white meats
