Jacquère Domaine Jean Vullien

Freshness and purity of the terroir distinguish Jacquère from the Jean Vullien winery. It is a white wine from Savoy with a delicate but intense flavor due to its minerality.

Grape variety: 100% Jacquère

Terroir: The vineyard, made up of young and old vines, extends sheltered from the northerly winds on the slopes of Fréterive and St Jean de la Porte, in the heart of the Combe de Savoie. The soil is clayey-calcareous of stony gravel, with southern exposure.

Production: 15,000 bottles

Vinification: Mechanical harvest. Direct pressing. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at a low temperature in thermoregulated stainless steel vats for about two weeks. No malolactic fermentation to preserve its minerality.

Color: clear, crystalline

Bouquet: delicate and fine, intense where notes of boxwood and white flowers are mixed, dominated by mineral and lemon notes.

Taste: light, pleasantly fresh

Tasting advice: Excellent with fish and shellfish dishes but also with cheeses, especially fondue

Storage: To be drunk within 2 years.
