Bitter Dandelion La Valdôtaine – Extraordinary mountain Bitter
Amaro Dente di Leone is an exceptional mountain bitter produced by the La Valdôtaine distillery in Saint-Marcel in the Aosta Valley. An inimitable amaro made according to an ancient recipe and with the best carefully selected alpine herbs. An intriguing amaro obtained from the infusion of Dandelion, a spontaneous flower that also grows at low altitudes but deliberately harvested in the mountains because, although smaller, it is richer in natural active ingredients. Dandelion, combined with alpine herbs, such as yarrow, wormwood, holy thistle, gentian, elderberry, and bittering muscovado, gives life to a "magical" elixir that will bewitch you.
Ingredients: water, alcohol, sugar, raw muscovado cane sugar, dandelion infusion, yarrow, wormwood, holy thistle, gentian root, elderflower flowers.

Color: bright amber
Bouquet: wide and varied with hints of aromatic herbs, mountain flowers, fresh balsamic notes and almost sweet but wild hints given by muscovado sugar

Suggested use: excellent amaro for meditation, to be drunk neat to fully savor all its intriguing flavour. Perfect for making inimitable cocktails

Curiosity: Legend has it that this flower was born from the dust raised by the chariot of the Sun God and that Theseus fed on the dandelion for thirty days to become strong enough to defeat the Minotaur.
