What are the characteristics of AnticaCuvée® Nonino Riserva Aged 5 Years?
AnticaCuvée® Nonino Riserva Aged 5 Years is produced with a blend of selected fresh pomace, including Merlot and Pinot Noir, aged between 5 and 20 years in small barrel barriques, under seal.
The best completely artisanal grappa with 0% dyes.
Raw materials: Selected fine pomace, harvested fresh and soft
Fermentation: In an anaerobic environment, in stainless steel vats, followed immediately by distillation to avoid further harmful fermentations
Distillation: Artisanal, discontinuous, with the cutting of the heads and tails, in particular copper steam stills, renewed by Benito Nonino. It occurs slowly to allow the aromas, correct evaporation and consequent condensation while maintaining the organoleptic characteristics of the vine intact.
Production: Linked to the vintage harvest
Natural ageing: From 5 to 20 years in barriques and small barrels, under seal. Without the use of dyes
Alcohol content: 43%
Bottling: Transparent glass bottle silk-screened in 24 carat hot gold and glitter
Taste: Warm, velvety and persistent. It presents its aromatic nuances with the addition of fruity notes of apricot, vanilla and almond
How to serve it: At room temperature, in a large balloon-type glass. Before tasting it, it must rest for a few minutes in the glass, this is because by oxygenating it completes itself, fully enhancing its flavor and smell.
Pairings: Perfect accompanied after lunch by a good cigar. Ideal with foie gras, cheeses, bitter chocolate or baked desserts. Very good if added to ice cream or to accompany a good scampi risotto, adding one or two spoons while toasting the rice
Nose: Hints of spices, brioche and pastries, orange and candied fruit
Color: Amber, bright and enveloping
This tasty grappa boasts several awards, including: ''Spirit Bran/distillery of the year'' 2019, Leonardo ''Qualita d'Italia'' 2003, Finalist ''Ultimate Spirits Challenge'' 2016, Gold Medal '' The WineHunter''
