Sweet Wines

An aromatic blend Marsala Fine DOC and essence of bitter almonds.  May be enjoyed as an aperitif or to accompany desserts, particularly those prepared with almond paste, typical of Sicilian bakers.

This is a deep amber-coloured dessert Marsala, not unlike a sweet Pedro Ximenex in flavour profile. It's raisiny on the nose with a hint of cinnamon, lots of Christmas fruitcake flavours and a long, very moreish finish. Try it with a blue cheese or a ripe triple cream. 

Colour - amber-coloured with old gold highlights. Aroma - extremely fine with scents of raisins and vanilla. Flavour - warm and full, with an elegant finish of bitter almonds and raisins. 

Marsala Vergine DOP is the result of centuries of history and a manual harvest of white berried grapes. It is aged 5 years in oak barrels. A Sicilian wine for meditation and with long unexpected taste characteristics.
It belongs to the ''Terra Nera'' category on the hills of the Trapani hinterland, an ideal habitat for the cultivation of both red and white grape vines.
Marsala Vergine has a golden yellow color tending towards amber. The bouquet is as complex and intriguing as its history, made up of work in the fields and peregrinations by sea, the scent of contaminations and perspectives, of shared rituals and dreams come true.

The strength and scents of the sea, within the Sicilian hinterland, give life to Marsala Superiore Secco, made within the Florio cellars.
An elegant wine that is excellent for important occasions and pairs perfectly with fish dinners and lunches.
