Born from the red and sandy lands of the Sicilian hinterland, made unique by processing in the Garibaldi cellars of Florio, a stone's throw from the sea, the wind and the salt which give this wine a unique flavour. Let's discover its processing and its characteristics:

TYPE: Fortified wine 2013

VARIETY: Grillo

TERRITORY: Coastal area of the municipality of Marsala and hinterland of the province of Trapani

CLASSIFICATION: DOC Marsala Superiore Riserva Semisecco

HARVEST: Manual harvest of grapes on the vine, starting from mid-September

VINIFICATION: Use of the traditional press to create musts full of colour, with extreme marine flavour. Fermentations in cement with continuous micro-oxygenations which continue even after fermentation

FALLING IN LOVE: Meeting between wine, siphon, cooked must and a small percentage of alcohol

AGING: 6 years. Oak barrel in the Garibaldi cellars, Florio.

ALCOHOL CONTENT: 19.5%

STORAGE TEMPERATURE: 14/16° in a cool and not too humid environment, protected from light

PAIRING: It pairs perfectly with quality products, such as gorgonzola, dried fruit

TASTE: Spicy notes with hints of leather and oak

NOSE: Dense aromas, vanilla berries, carob, date
