This popular Italian sparkling wine is dry and crisp on the palate and a super wine for aperitif or for that special celebration. The base wines of a Classic Method sparkling wine are made from all or some of the following grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier which last grape variety in Italy is generally replaced by different grapes, such as Pinot Blanc (as far as Italian Classic Method spumante is concerned).

This dry spumante with rich and fine pérlage and intense and delicate perfume, springs up from a particular “cru” of Chardonnay produced in the vineyard. One perceives well blended, blod yeast tones, and notes of crust of bread and acacia honey in an elegant harmony. Fresh and fragrant-tasting, it has an equilibrated and aristocratic taste.
