Organic Sicilian Chardonnay DOC Menfi
Full-bodied, intense and with a good structure, Planeta's Chardonnay is a white aged in oak barriques, destined for long ageing. Since 1985 the Chardonnay grapes have been grown in the vineyards of Ulmo and Maroccoli, unique for their position and terroir, to give life to an unmistakably Sicilian Chardonnay.

La Segreta takes its name from the wood that surrounds our vineyard at Ulmo. This young fresh wine produced mainly from Grecanico grapes, introduced into Sicily more than 2,000 years ago, gains personality and style with the addition of international variety grapes.All the grapes are carefully cultivated in Planeta owned vineyards.

Derived from the name of the wild flower that grows around our cellar, Alastro is a Grecanico blended with a particularly aromatic variety, Sauvignon Blanc. It is a delicately structured wine, with aromas of tropical fruit, fresh citrus and white flowers.

Cometa by Planeta is a great Sicilian white wine from 100% Fiano grapes in the municipality of Menfi. It has an intense and aromatic nose with notes of cut grass, exotic fruit and Mediterranean scrub. Elegant and rich at the same time. It moves dynamically between soft alcoholic sensations and a vibrant acidity. Persistent and varietal.

Eruzione 1614 Carricante by Planeta is a Sicilian white wine from Carricante grapes, with a small addition of Riesling. The cultivation on black soils rich in minerals of the Sciaranuova vineyard, at an altitude of 890 m on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, give this wine minerality, freshness and flavor.

Carricante grapes This wine is produced in our Feudo di Mezzo winery, lying in the centre of Etna’s wine growing area, from Carricante grapes partially fermented in barriques. This is the result of searching for an expression of this noble grape cultivated in the unique and splendid terroir of Etna.

Grillo The terebinth is a shrub with glossy fronds, always associated with Sicily and the Mediterranean countryside from east to west. The Planeta Terebinto is a single-variety Grillo; aromatic and intense on the nose with notes of pink grapefruit, balanced and complex on the palate.

Versatile wine with a perfect balance between freshness and flavour
SP68 takes the name of a road that farmers already traveled three thousand years ago starting from the countryside with amphorae, and then barrels, and inside the fruit of their work, fatigue, joy, and again the smell of the earth. Fresh, slightly aromatic and of great finesse, SP68 Bianco is a fragrant and mineral white wine. Wealth and character enhance its drinkability and versatility.

Produced from a grape that loves altitude and lava lands, Riesling Eruzione 1614 is a cru of Etna grown in the Sciaranuova vineyards, at whose border the legendary eruption of 1614, which lasted 10 years, stopped.

The white wine SM Contrada Santa Margherita by Arianna Occhipinti is a particularly sapid, elegant 100% Grillo with great personality and aromatic intensity. Excellent balance between the alcoholic and acidic sensations. To give it these unique characteristics is the terroir on which the vineyard stands, partly rich in chalk and fossils, partly calcareous.
