What are the characteristics of peasant-style black olives?

Black olives are grown following the conventional agriculture regime. After harvesting, the olives are crushed in the artisan laboratory, to facilitate the ''debittering'' of the product. Then follows the salting and fermentation phase. Finally the product is selected, desalted, dried, seasoned and packaged, bringing traditions and typical flavors of the Sicilian land to your tables, without the use of preservatives.

These black olives from southern Italy can be used in your cooking, during the best occasions, but also simply with a slice of homemade bread.
