Produced in the Belìce Valley on sandy soils, Nerello Mascalese Molino a Vento has the characteristic red color tending towards garnet. The aroma is intense with hints of wild berries and delicate spicy notes. On the palate it demonstrates elegance, good structure and excellent harmony.

Production Area: Valle del Belìce, in the Trapani hinterland
Altitude: 100-300 m above sea level.
Soil: red earth, rich in sand and skeleton (stones). Its composition is very loose and full of ferrous micro elements
Harvest: manual at full phenolic ripeness, in the first ten days of September
Vinification: destemming and soft pressing of the grapes
Fermentation: at a controlled temperature for two weeks in order to provide the right tone and aromatic richness
Aging: in steel, completes the maturation process in wood for 2-4 months before being bottled
Alcohol content: 13.5% vol
Color: red tending towards garnet
Nose: intense aromas, with hints of wild berries and delicate spicy notes
Palate: elegant, with good structure and excellent harmony
Pairings: perfect with first courses, such as bucatini all'amatriciana, busiate alla trapanese, and with mature cheeses
