Perricone DOC Tenute Orestiadi
The Perricone Tenute Orestiadi is one of the six indigenous mono-varietals cultivated in the Belìce Valley. It is a large and elegant wine, enriched with mineral and forest fruit notes and delicate hints of cherry.

Color: Deep purple
Nose: Aromatic bouquet of red berries mixed with hints of black pepper and Mediterranean spices
Taste: Soft and elegant with dense fruity sensations of wild berries. The finish is sumptuous and persistent
Pairings: Fresh cheeses, macaroni with stewed pork, lamb chops, typical sicilians meet rolls
Vinification: Aging for about 8 months in steel tanks. Aging is completed inside the bottle lying on its side for about 10 months.

Wonderful wine!
This is one of the best reds I have tasted in a while... Fruity at first (cherries, berries, some tannins and a little peppery) but finishing rich and sweet (dates, caramel, licorice). Really lovely. Will be ordering some more when we run out!
