Located a few kilometres from Alcamo in a soft hilly landscape, the family owned estate consists of 30 hectares, 25,5 of which are cultivated as vineyards. Only 8,5 hectares have been selected for producing CEUSO grapes.

The first single varietal wine to be produced from Nero d’Avola grapes in the history of Sicilian wine, it was first made in 1984. The idea of this noble wine originated from the desire to produce a great Sicilian red wine that could stand alongside the highest quality wines in existence in the international wine-making industry.

Produced 100% from our own Castelvetrano estate Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. The most up-to-date viticultural management of these vineyards result in exceptional fruit.

Let yourself be inebriated by a glass of Contrada S 2019 red wine by Passopisciaro. Contrada S, Sciaranuova, was formed with the casting just 200 years ago and in fact Sciaranuova means "new casting". The red wine obtained from this terroir is deep, with a broad complexion, with a note of fermented hay.

Among the Etna wines produced in Passopisciaro by Franchetti, let yourself be conquered by the delicacy and aromaticity of Nerello Mascalese Contrada R 2020. Contrada R, Rampante, is the highest district of Passopisciaro, located at over 1000 m high, and the vineyards grown here they are over 100 years old.

The terroir and the vineyard: this wine developed from a project which had as its objective the extraction of the maximum expression of terroir in terms of the intensity of the organoleptic characteristics present in the wine.
