Emblematic label of Sicilian wine excellence
Mille e una Notte by Donnafugata is a Sicilian red wine with great structure and complexity. It is produced with Nero d'Avola grapes and other native varieties grown in the Contessa Entellina vineyards. An intense wine, a symbol of elegance and style in the world, it offers an enveloping bouquet in which fruity, sweet and ripe hints can be recognized, on balsamic, spicy notes and nuances of sweet toasting.

Nero d'Avola Menfi DOC wine
Plumbago is a single-variety Nero d’Avola, called after the beautifully coloured purple wild flower that grows in the woods surrounding the baglio and vineyards of Ulmo.

The Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico Dorilli comes from a careful selection of the vineyards that surround the beautiful and unique estate of Dorilli, named after the nearby river Dirillo. A fine and elegant expression, fruit of the union of the noble Nero d’Avola with the Frappato of Vittoria, slightly marked by the refinement in wood.

Santa Cecilia is the flagship wine of the Planeta winery, obtained from the most important Sicilian variety: Nero d'Avola. Santa Cecilia is an expression of elegance, power, balance and exaltation of the unique scents of the lands of Sicily, and today a reference point for reds from native Sicilian grapes. Its name derives from that of the family: Planeta di Santa Cecilia.

A blend of Nero d'Avola and Frappato, Planeta's Cerasuolo di Vittoria is an organic red wine from the best Sicilian tradition, interpreted in a modern key. Sedara by Donnafugata is a Sicilian red wine made mainly from Nero D'Avola grapes. The ruby red color is completed with very lively garnet shades. Among the red wines of the Planeta Cellars we offer you the Mamertino, whose name dates back to when the Mamertinis produced this wine described by Pliny and loved by Julius Caesar in Milazzo. It is a Sicilian blend of Nero d'Avola and Nocera grapes grown in The Baronia vineyard in Capo Milazzo. The Barone Lucifero Foundation, owner of the fund, uses part of the proceeds for socio-cultural and recreational activities for children in the Milazzo area.
