The precious Timilia flour is a wholemeal flour which, during the phase of separation from the bran, sifting, is not very refined. It takes its name from the ancient Sicilian durum wheat Timilia or Tumminia (Triticum durum), from the stone grinding of which a nutritionally rich flour is obtained.

Obtained with the stone milling of the ancient Sicilian Majorca wheat, the Majorcan flour is a soft wheat flour formerly used in our island for the production of sweets, in particular for the Sicilian cannoli rind, and recently rediscovered for its quality. and digestibility.

A pure, powerful merlot, Grammonte is full bodied with a persistent aftertaste. Dark, dense, ruby-red, with a refined flavour. With scents of ripe red fruit, morello cherries, black cherries and prunes, as well as floral notes, blended with some mineral nuances, graphite, tobacco and vanilla.

Cottanera have created a blend with 15% of international varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot), which definitely adds fruit and richness to this easy-going cuvee. The fruit is leathery, backed up by taut tannins, and there's an enticing spicy, vegetal note to the nose. Barrique aging has been well judged to round out the palate, without dominating it.

A good intensive rubin colour, Nume has clean perfumes of brushwood, blackberries, currant, that are woven with notes of chocolate and tobacco above a deep coolness of grasses.
