Cottanera have created a blend with 15% of international varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot), which definitely adds fruit and richness to this easy-going cuvee. The fruit is leathery, backed up by taut tannins, and there's an enticing spicy, vegetal note to the nose. Barrique aging has been well judged to round out the palate, without dominating it.

Eruzione 1614 Nerello Mascalese by Planeta is an extraordinary Sicilian red wine made from Nerello Mascalese grapes grown on the slopes of Mount Etna. Thanks to the black soils rich in minerals, this wine takes on structure, character and refinement.

Among the crus of Tenuta delle Terre Nere, Guardiola is the one with the most powerful and original character. The high altitude of the vineyards, 800-1000 meters, and the consequent aridity of the soils exacerbate the acidity of the wine and accentuate its tannins. Therefore, it takes longer to relax and express itself.

Calderara Sottana is a single vineyard wine produced only from vineyards between 50-100 years old. From the vinification of two native Etna vines, Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio, the Etna Rosso DOC of the Tornatore winery is born, a wine with an intense and spicy aroma.

NeroMosso is a rough white wine made from black grapes. It is produced, in fact, from Nerello Mascalese grapes, typical of the Etna area.
