Burdese by Planeta is a Sicilian red wine with a Bordeaux blend. The name itself in the local Burdisi/Burdese dialect means Bordeaux and refers to the classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Produced in limited quantities, Burdese is an aging wine of great density, structure and balance. Due to its complexity it has few similar in Sicily.

Feudo dei Fiori di Mandrarossa is a Sicilian white wine, made from Vermentino, Sauvignon and Chardonnay grapes. The white wine Feudo Dei Fiori has a very intense full-bodied fruit and brings as everywhere in Italy very fruity, sometimes bold white wines.

Made from Chenin Blanc grapes with the Charmat method, Chenin Blanc from Mandrarossa is a fresh, savory and elegant Brut with a long and persistent finish.

Each varietal is harvested separately to ensure optimal ripening. Grapes are destemmed, crushed and the resultant must is rapidly chilled to 39°F on its way to the pneumatic presses. Some portions of the fruit are given skin contact in order to extract flavor and body.

Mandrarossa Bendicò, austere wine of remarkable elegance achieved with Nero d'Avola and Merlot grapes from vineyards in our area. The taste and bouquet are enhanced and completed after a long aging in oak barrels. Serve at : 16-18° C

Bonera, located in the heart of Menfi’s surroundings, this is a typical farming area, dedicated to the cultivation of vineyards. The temperatures in summer are above 30 degrees, and the great changes in temperature intensify the properties of the Nero d’avola and Cabernet Franc, giving the wine power and elegance.

Produced from a grape that loves altitude and lava lands, Riesling Eruzione 1614 is a cru of Etna grown in the Sciaranuova vineyards, at whose border the legendary eruption of 1614, which lasted 10 years, stopped.

Eruzione 1614 Carricante by Planeta is a Sicilian white wine from Carricante grapes, with a small addition of Riesling. Derived from the name of the wild flower that grows around our cellar, Alastro is a Grecanico blended with a particularly aromatic variety, Sauvignon Blanc. It is a delicately structured wine, with aromas of tropical fruit, fresh citrus and white flowers.

La Segreta takes its name from the wood that surrounds our vineyard at Ulmo. This young fresh wine produced mainly from Grecanico grapes, introduced into Sicily more than 2,000 years ago, gains personality and style with the addition of international variety grapes.All the grapes are carefully cultivated in Planeta owned vineyards.

Nero d'Avola Menfi DOC wine
Plumbago is a single-variety Nero d’Avola, called after the beautifully coloured purple wild flower that grows in the woods surrounding the baglio and vineyards of Ulmo.

Nocera by Planeta is a Sicilian red obtained from this noble and ancient grape variety. The vine is grown in a few hectares in Capo Milazzo, in the Messina area, in the spectacular La Baronia vineyard surrounded by the sea, by centuries-old olive trees and under the gaze of the Aeolian Islands. The Barone Lucifero Foundation, owner of the fund, uses part of the proceeds for socio-cultural and recreational activities for the children of the Milazzo area.

The Cartagho made ​​a wine from grapes Nero d'Avola, intense color and life brings smells deep and elegant licorice, plums and well integrated wood. On the palate it is full, balanced, supported by soft tannins and fine.

Calamossa Mandrarossa comes from the selection of the best autochthonous white berried grapes from the Menfi area and the surrounding areas. Fresh and with delicate vegetal notes, Urra di Mare is a savory and mineral white wine with a persistent finish. To distinguish it from the Sauvignon produced in other areas is the beneficial action of the sea breeze.

From the synthesis between tradition and innovation, Bertolino Soprano is born, a fragrant and seductive Grillo grown on limestone soils.

The Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico Dorilli comes from a careful selection of the vineyards that surround the beautiful and unique estate of Dorilli, named after the nearby river Dirillo. A fine and elegant expression, fruit of the union of the noble Nero d’Avola with the Frappato of Vittoria, slightly marked by the refinement in wood.

Nero d’Avola, 50% Syrah Our Rosé, fresh and fruity, represents all the feelings of a Sicilian summer. Its colour is that of a summer sunset. Moscato Bianco Allemanda is an opening baroque dance, as well as our Moscato Bianco. Dry, with intense scents of jasmine and citrus fruit, it is the fruit of the white and sun-drenched lands of Noto. A personal interpretation of an aperitif wine produced from indigenous aromatic grape varieties.

Merlot  grows in Menfi in soils that are black and nutrient rich, making the wine beautifully intense.

Our Merlot has enjoyed international attention since its first vintage.
