Produced from organic and sustainable agriculture, the Monreale black lentil is a rare and ancient Sicilian cultivar, a symbol of the biodiversity of an extraordinary territory. Savory and rich in nutrients, Sicilian black lentils La Riserva del Re are a prized legume, more digestible and of superior quality than other varieties of lentils.

Originally from Floresta, in the Messina area, but produced in many municipalities on the slopes of the Nebrodi Mountains, our Provola dei Nebrodi DOP is one of the oldest and most popular Sicilian stretched curd cheeses, so much so that it has obtained, as a guarantee of quality, the DOP recognition from European Commission, Class 1.3 Cheeses.

The red lentil La Riserva del Re is cultivated organically and is of Sicilian origin. The organic certification and traceability of La Riserva del Re brand legumes are the guarantee of a very high quality product. Tasty and rich in nutrients, Sicilian lentils are essential for a healthy and balanced diet.

It is produced exclusively from the meat of  black pigs bred in the Nebrodi Mountains. This  native breed falls into one 144 principals of Slow Food and is inserted in the archive of Quality Products from the italian Coldiretti (Italian Farmers Association).Every ham has a certificate of traceability.

The lentils reached their peak production between the 1930s and the 1960s, when around 30 percent of Italian lentils came from Sicily, and especially Villalba. This legume was particularly in demand for its remarkable sensory characteristics and because the market at the time favored the large-seed types

The Black Nebrodi pig lives in thewild and feeds exclusively on acorns and chestnuts.

Hulled Broad Beans - Organic Product
Make your creamy soups with shelled beans of the Monreale type, broken and without integument. Produced from organic farming, they are kidney-shaped and creamy yellow in color. What characterizes them is the size of the seed: the Monreale type broad bean is in fact a broad bean, even if in the same pod the size of the seeds is different.

The Nero Siciliano, also called black swine of Nebrodi, is an autochthonous Sicilian breed of very ancient origin. This pig is reared under extensive or semi-extensive management mainly in the Nebrodi mountains of the Messina province in the island of Sicily. 

They are a good source of protein, and when combined with a whole grain such as whole wheat pasta or brown rice, provide protein comparable to that of meat or dairy foods. An important characteristic of dry beans is that they absorb the flavor and aromas of the ingredients that accompany them, so they are very suitable for stews and soups.

Cheek or "Buccularu" from the black pig, its name derived from the dialect word "buccularu" meaning check of the pig.

Produced from organic cultivation, our cicerchia is rich in proteins and is considered among the best grain legumes for food quality. Typical Sicilian product, the cicerchia has recently been rediscovered and is used to make gourmet dishes.

Robiola flavored with natural herbs and spices
Girgentana goat cheeses with fresh and soft texture, obtained with lactic coagulation. During the processing phase they are flavored with aromatic herbs and natural spices. The flavor of these goat cheeses is truly singular, the sweet notes of the milk combine with the particularity of the spices, for an unmistakable harmony of flavours.

A really chunky soup packed with with kidney beans, cicerchia and chickpeas. Cicerchia is rich in proteins and is considered among the best grain legumes for food quality. Excellent in combination with red beans and chickpeas to prepare gourmet soups.

Ragusano is a stretched-curd cow’s milk cheese made on the Hyblean Plateau, where the cattle graze on rich fragrant pastures. Its origin is tied to the historic farming of the native Modicana cattle breed in the region, today at risk of extinction. Some cheesemakers, including one producer that is a member of the Slow Food Presidium, still produce it today using only the milk from Modicana cows.

Sicilian chickpeas Pascià
Also known as "pasha" chickpeas, La Riserva del Re wrinkled chickpeas are organic legumes grown in Sicily without chemical pesticides. Genuine and rich in nutrients, these chickpeas are meaty, sweet and tasty, perfect for preparing creamy soups and unique traditional Sicilian dishes.

The Maiorchino, pecorino cheese of high quality, began to be produced around the 1600's and still nowadays, in some commons of the province of Messina, the traditional "ruzzola" is carried out: the shepherds compete making the whole cheeses roll along the slope of the main street of the town.

A hand worked cheese that is typical of the region of Nebrodi (a mountain range in Northern Sicily). The characteristic trait of this cheese is evident by the presence of lemon "verdicello", typical of this zone of Sicily.

Evocative wine of our Sicily for its flavor and its floral and citrus aromas, Kebrilla by Fina is a very fresh and elegant organic white wine, produced from Grillo grapes, the oldest Sicilian vine. Tasting it is like "taking a leap" to Sicily.

This cold rolled underbelly of pork meat is eaten raw. It is restricted quantities using the underbelly of free-range pigs that are bred all around the area of the Nebrodi mountains.

Cheese "Verde di Sicilia" is a semi-mature cheese, it is produced in the mountains with milk from sheep that feed on spontaneous forage essences.
After about 20 days of seasoning, it is covered in a crust of ground pistachios and is ready for consumption. Its taste is sweet and aromatic (due to the presence of pistachio), the texture is soft and slightly crumbly.

From the Sicilian red grape variety par excellence, Fina winery produces its organic Nero d'Avola. Wide and velvety, it is a red wine with great structure and aromatic persistence, excellent to accompany succulent dishes.

Cooked cheese, white or straw-colored, coated on the outside with ground black pepper and aged in maturing cells in straw.

“Catarratto” is one of the oldest native grape variety in Sicily. Widely cultivated in the western region of the island, it is one of the leading Sicilian white grape varieties today. A very drinkable wine with persuasive and enjoyable flavors and a crunchy fruit taste. Benedè is a traditional wine, invaluable proof of Catarratto grapes, that have been cultivated in Sicily for a long time.

Formaggio il Rosso di Sicilia is a semi-mature cheese, it is produced in the mountains with milk from sheep that feed on spontaneous forage essences. After about 60 days of maturation it is covered in a crust of ground red pepper and is ready for consumption. Sweet and aromatic and spicy (due to the presence of red pepper), the texture is soft and slightly crumbly.

The young and thriving Nero d’Avola vineyards, planted in 2000 using an espalier training system, are lying on clay soils, rich in limestone and potassium. Produced from the most important Sicilian red grape, Donnatà has a strong and complex personality, which generously expresses its origins by being a very enjoyable and well-balanced wine.

Outstanding by nature and very pleasing to the palate, Kaid Syrah is a powerful and complex wine which marries exuberance, silkiness and exceptional intensity. Syrah is considered the most “Sicilian” among the international vine varieties. Already implanted in 1989, in Contrada Mandranova, it has wonderfully adapted to the local climatic conditions.

Our Provola dei Nebrodi Stagionata DOP is a Sicilian cheese with spun paste which, for its quality, has obtained the DOP recognition from the European Commission, Class 1.3 Cheeses. It has its origins in Floresta, a municipality in Messina, but it is produced in many municipalities in the Nebrodi Mountains.

16 Filari is an organic Nero d'Avola produced by the Case Alte winery in Contrada Macellarotto in Camporeale. The precious Timilia flour is a wholemeal flour which, during the phase of separation from the bran, sifting, is not very refined. It takes its name from the ancient Sicilian durum wheat Timilia or Tumminia (Triticum durum), from the stone grinding of which a nutritionally rich flour is obtained.

Obtained with the stone milling of the ancient Sicilian Majorca wheat, the Majorcan flour is a soft wheat flour formerly used in our island for the production of sweets, in particular for the Sicilian cannoli rind, and recently rediscovered for its quality. and digestibility.

The Senatore Cappelli durum wheat flour comes from a "hybrid" grain, a cross between different wheats, milled in stone. Senatore Cappelli is the youngest of the ancient Sicilian grains.
