Nine centuries ago between the Hills of the Madonie that surround the coast of Cefalù, carl Ruggero d'Altavilla built the Abbey of Santa Anastasia (in a Byzantin farmhouse that was called "Yspigro"). The microclimatie position of the lands (as a matter of faet, there are lands at an attitude of approximately 250 meters above sea level) yielded much esteemed grapes of which the monks derived a wine of a unique and sublime quality. This product was highly apprectated on the episcopal and baronial tables of the island and became a much sought after wine.
From Inzolia, a native Sicilian grape. The grapes are gently crushed and the must, rich in flavours and bouquets, is fermented at a low temperature to maintain its characteristics and original fragrance. Inzolia has a pleasant light body and fresh, fruity taste.
Quality viticulture and elegant oenology marks Litra, a Cabernet Sauvignon grown on sharply descending buttressed land. Lengthy maceration, aging in French oak barrels. A good refining period in bottles to develop its bouquet. It can be kept bottled for long periods.

A white wine obtained mainly from Inzolia, a traditional Sicilian grape, combined with non-native Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, harvested when at a good stage of ripeness and vinified in mixed varieties according to the most up-to-date oenology protocol. A wine full of primary and secondary bouquets. The taste is persistent and full-bodied.
A red wine made from a Sicilian grape like the Nero d'Avola and vinified with a small quantity of Merlot grapes left to ripen under the hot Sicilian sun.
