Sicilian Bordeaux wine
Burdese by Planeta is a Sicilian red wine with a Bordeaux blend. The name itself in the local Burdisi/Burdese dialect means Bordeaux and refers to the classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Produced in limited quantities, Burdese is an aging wine of great density, structure and balance. Due to its complexity it has few similar in Sicily.

Mille e una Notte by Donnafugata is a Sicilian red wine with great structure and complexity. It is produced with Nero d'Avola grapes and other native varieties grown in the Contessa Entellina vineyards. An intense wine, a symbol of elegance and style in the world, it offers an enveloping bouquet in which fruity, sweet and ripe hints can be recognized, on balsamic, spicy notes and nuances of sweet toasting.

Sole dei Padri is pure Syrah, maybe more than 100%, from a single vineyard, 400 meters above sea level. We produce 7,000 bottles of it.

High viticulture and aristocratic oenology in the Litra. Cabernet Sauvignon cultivated with severe low spurred cordon. Long maceration, resting in French oak barriques. Good bottle aging period to develop the bouquet. You can live a very long time in the bottle.

The Camelot by Firriato is a Sicilian red wine with a ruby red color. It is obtained with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. This wine is dedicated to the most demanding wine lovers, those who love great wines and want to mantain traditions. 

The Montenero has a concentrated ruby red color. Elegant, velvety and seductive, it has intense aromas of small and ripe red berry and cherry fruits, which are well blended with the scents of licorice and spices along with hints of violets and vanilla.

Fine and elegant white wine, with an intense, complex bouquet featuring fruity and floral notes of apple and acacia, together with salty and mineral finish.

A red wine made from a Sicilian grape like the Nero d'Avola and vinified with a small quantity of Merlot grapes left to ripen under the hot Sicilian sun. “Catarratto” is one of the oldest native grape variety in Sicily. Widely cultivated in the western region of the island, it is one of the leading Sicilian white grape varieties today. A very drinkable wine with persuasive and enjoyable flavors and a crunchy fruit taste. Benedè is a traditional wine, invaluable proof of Catarratto grapes, that have been cultivated in Sicily for a long time.

From the marvelous island of Pantelleria and from the best selection of Muscat of Alessandria grapes or Zibibbo here is an excellent sweet, light gold wine with an intense, elegant aroma. Ideal with dried fruit and as an after dinner wine.

The young and thriving Nero d’Avola vineyards, planted in 2000 using an espalier training system, are lying on clay soils, rich in limestone and potassium. Produced from the most important Sicilian red grape, Donnatà has a strong and complex personality, which generously expresses its origins by being a very enjoyable and well-balanced wine.

Outstanding by nature and very pleasing to the palate, Kaid Syrah is a powerful and complex wine which marries exuberance, silkiness and exceptional intensity. Syrah is considered the most “Sicilian” among the international vine varieties. Already implanted in 1989, in Contrada Mandranova, it has wonderfully adapted to the local climatic conditions.

From an accurate selection of the best Zibibbo grapes in the province of Trapani one of the most famous sweet Sicilian i.g.t. wines is obtained. Colour light straw-yellow and with its strong aroma it is an ideal dessert wine.

A lively, exuberant and at the same time ample and refined wine, Kaid Sauvignon is an organic wine produced from Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown at 330 meters above sea level on a clayey and sandy soil. With a dense and vibrant texture, it is an elegant and enveloping wine that captivates without tiring.

In the most ancient vineyards of the estate, on the hill overlooking Mandranova plain, Catarratto reveals its full potential in one of its highest expressions. Catarratto Vigna di Mandranova is an elegant wine, to be uncorked in special moments. Seductive and harmonious in its fruity and floral bouquet, it will pleasantly surprise you with its spicy and mineral ending.

Evocative wine of our Sicily for its flavor and its floral and citrus aromas, Kebrilla by Fina is a very fresh and elegant organic white wine, produced from Grillo grapes, the oldest Sicilian vine. Tasting it is like "taking a leap" to Sicily.

From the Sicilian red grape variety par excellence, Fina winery produces its organic Nero d'Avola. Wide and velvety, it is a red wine with great structure and aromatic persistence, excellent to accompany succulent dishes.

Full and intense taste for the Kikè of the Fina winery, white wine produced from Traminer Aromatico grapes, an aromatic variety planted in Sicily only recently, with a small percentage of Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Excellent to accompany appetizers, snacks and fish dishes. Surprising as an aperitif.

Cantine Fina's Mamarì is not the classic Sauvignon Blanc but it is a Sicilian Sauvignon Blanc. Widespread in Sicily since the mid-nineties, the vine has found an ideal habitat that has allowed it to develop unique and unmistakable typical Sicilian olfactory and gustatory characteristics. It is a fresh wine vinified in steel with fruity and floral notes. Great to accompany sushi and sashimi!

International grape variety best interpreted from Sicily, Syrah by Fina is a robust, well-structured and persistent wine. Fruity aroma of blackberries and spicy notes of black pepper for a perfect red wine to accompany medium strong flavors.

Elegance, personality and long persistence characterize Perricone by Fina, a Sicilian red wine in purity with soft tannins, evocative of the territory of origin for its organoleptic qualities.

It is the most complex wine. A unique blend determined by the characteristics of each grape that composes it and that, of course, are different each harvest. Tribute to my "teacher" of the wine.

Siccagno Occhipinti - "Aristocratic and melancholy Nero d'Avola"
Nero d'Avola in purity, Arianna Occhipinti's Siccagno is a deep, persuasive, gritty and wild red wine but at the same time fresh, mineral and elegant. Gentle like a caress, warm like a cuddle and passionate like a lover, Siccagno will not disappoint expectations.

The charming grotto of Scurati in the medieval village of Custonaci is the namesake for the young wine made from the best selection of Grillo grapes from the vineyard on the highest hill of the estate. 

Dawn on the gentle salt hills; a soft hum of windmills: this is the landscape in which we cultivate our vineyards. The fusion of these two nobile grape varieties expresses a wine with a rich perfume and a refined flavour.

Bonera, located in the heart of Menfi’s surroundings, this is a typical farming area, dedicated to the cultivation of vineyards. The temperatures in summer are above 30 degrees, and the great changes in temperature intensify the properties of the Nero d’avola and Cabernet Franc, giving the wine power and elegance.

I Sensi Line - Nero d'Avola 2019 "Il Gusto" of Abbazia Santa Anastasia
Nero d’Avola shows an intense ruby red color with a slightly faded violet nail. Good clarity and concentration. It offers aromas that evoke aromas of red fruit that are intense, pleasant and fresh anyway. In the mouth it is generous with fruity and spicy veins. However, it has a good body and is very pleasant and excellent to sip.

I Sensi line - Grillo 2022 La Vista of Abbazia Santa Anastasia
The Abbazia Sant'Antiasia Biological Grillo has a straw yellow color with light greenish nuances, while the nose offers fresh fruit aromas with floral notes. The palate is pleasantly fresh, sapid and persistent. Best served with fish dishes, excellent as an aperitif.

Made from biodynamic Chardonnay grapes, Sens(i)nverso Chardonnay is a fresh and mineral white wine with an intense and elegant bouquet and a round and persistent taste. Excellent with dishes based on fine and tasty fish, medium-aged cheeses.

Made from biodynamic Syrah grapes, Sensinverso is a Sicilian red wine with a large and fresh bouquet. Elegant and velvety, it is indicated with grilled or roasted meat dishes and medium-aged cheeses.

Chardonnay selected from the Santa Anastasia vineyards, harvested when almost overly ripe and golden from sun exposure.

Eruzione 1614 Carricante by Planeta is a Sicilian white wine from Carricante grapes, with a small addition of Riesling. The cultivation on black soils rich in minerals of the Sciaranuova vineyard, at an altitude of 890 m on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, give this wine minerality, freshness and flavor.

La Segreta takes its name from the wood that surrounds our vineyard at Ulmo. Nero d'Avola Menfi DOC wine
Plumbago is a single-variety Nero d’Avola, called after the beautifully coloured purple wild flower that grows in the woods surrounding the baglio and vineyards of Ulmo.

Nocera by Planeta is a Sicilian red obtained from this noble and ancient grape variety. The vine is grown in a few hectares in Capo Milazzo, in the Messina area, in the spectacular La Baronia vineyard surrounded by the sea, by centuries-old olive trees and under the gaze of the Aeolian Islands. The Barone Lucifero Foundation, owner of the fund, uses part of the proceeds for socio-cultural and recreational activities for the children of the Milazzo area.

A red wine obtained from the best Nero d'Avola grapes, thinned and vinified in 20 hl wooden casks built specifically on the island to exalt its Sicilian-ness. All this to produce a wine marked by the thousand and one scents of this land and capable of expressing today the traditions and future of Sicily at their best.

Enveloping, soft and fresh Nero d'Avola
A single varietal wine produced from Nero d’Avola grapes, first produced on the sinuous and well-ventilated hills of the Suor Marchesa estate, in the hinterland of the southern part of Sicily, where grapes reach full maturity under the late September sun.

Rosso di Marco is made with 100% Pignatello grapes, also known as Perricone, a black traditional grape of Western Sicily, almost disappeared, taking its name from the so called “pignatiddare“, the terra rossa of the province of Trapani, well suited to this variety, and traditionally used to craft terracotta cooking pots “pignatte”.

16 Filari by Case Alte – Organic Nero d’Avola
16 Filari is an organic Nero d'Avola produced by the Case Alte winery in Contrada Macellarotto in Camporeale. From the autochthonous Sicilian vine par excellence, the Case Alte winery produces this extraordinary Nero d'Avola, full-bodied, velvety, with fruity and spicy tones and silky and fine but lively tannins that make this red wine lively and structured.

Produced in Camporeale from organic farming, Syrah di Macellarotto by Case Alte is a very full, balanced and long Sicilian red wine on the finish.

Syrah Masseria del Feudo - Organic Sicilian Wine

The grapes Nero D'Avola (100%) are grown at 50 metres above sea level on the Baroni Estate in Noto. Only perfect grapes are picked at the correct time of maturation. 

From the synthesis between tradition and innovation, Bertolino Soprano is born, a fragrant and seductive Grillo grown on limestone soils.

Ruby red color with purple hues, the nose has an intense and elegant, with notes of liquorice and spices which then must be open to notes of ripe red fruit reminiscent of cherry. The palate is well structured and round with a nice tannic structure.

Bright and fresh, Rosé di Morgante is a sapid but at the same time fragrant and balanced wine characterized by clear, fruity aromas, where citrus and floral notes stand out, reminiscent of rose petals. Ideal as an aperitif, it enhances raw white fish and any type of Mediterranean salad.

Production areaMuscat grapes, namely the variety “Muscat of Alexandria”, originally from Egypt, was introduced in Sicily and adopted the name zabbibo, from Arab zabib. A careful selection of the best Zibibbo grapes in the province of Trapani make up one of the best sweet i.g.t. wines in Sicily. It has a splendid light straw colour and a strong aroma. An ideal dessert wine.

Form the best selections of white malmsey grapes this very delicate, amber coloured sweet wine is obtained. The pleasant aroma of ripe fruit is reflected in its full harmonious taste.

Nero d’Avola, 50% Syrah Our Rosé, fresh and fruity, represents all the feelings of a Sicilian summer. Its colour is that of a summer sunset. The fresh aromas of strawberry make it a marvellously friendly wine, and easy to drink. Enjoy Planeta’s Rosé in good company, as an aperitif with tapas, raw fish, fresh salads or alone with seasonal fruit.

Merlot  grows in Menfi in soils that are black and nutrient rich, making the wine beautifully intense.

Our Merlot has enjoyed international attention since its first vintage. It has a small production from the hilly vineyards of Ulmo and Maroccoli.  This exceptional presentation of this noble grape, rich, round and powerful, is found in the winelists of the most prestigious restaurants and winebars round the world.
